Amanda Thebe wants women in menopause to know there’s nothing selfish about putting your health and wellness first. In fact, focusing on how to eat, move, manage stress, and think during menopause can be life-changing. Amanda has over twenty years of experience in the fitness industry, and going from barely surviving her own menopause experience to now thriving, she decided to use her expertise to inspire other women. Recognizing the link between health, fitness, mental health and thriving during midlife, Amanda has started a thriving Facebook community Menopausing So Hard, which boasts over 13,000 members, and active Instagram account.
In 2020, she published her book Menopocalypse: How I Learned to Thrive During Menopause and How You Can Too, a poignant look into how to manage menopause symptoms filled with nutritional recommendations and some of her tried-and-tested personal fitness tips. There’s no stopping Amanda when it comes to smashing menopause taboos and helping women become their strongest and healthiest selves.
